Holiday is still recovering from the tibial stress fracture he suffered last season, but the fact that both he and the team are feeling confident enough to run him out there for the first preseason game is a very positive sign. Assuming he doesn't suffer any setbacks, he should be fine for the Pelicans' Oct. 28 season opener.
