Doc Rivers: DeAndre Jordan 'won't ever accept an extension'

Jayne-Kamin Oncea / USA TODAY Sports

The Los Angeles Clippers retained so many players during the offseason, Chris Paul called it "a long All-Star break." The team won't necessarily look the same after the upcoming season, though, as center DeAndre Jordan won't sign an extension.

Jordan, who had his most successful NBA season last year with 10.4 points and 13.6 rebounds per game, will likely hold out to get maximum money for his performance. Why wouldn't anyone?

As he enters a contract year, Jordan will likely be poised for another steady season.
