Stuckey has opened training camp as the Pacers' starting shooting guard, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports.

Analysis:

Stuckey signed with Indiana this offseason following the departure of Lance Stephenson and has immediately occupied the Pacers' starting shooting guard position. While Stuckey is probably the team's best option at the two-guard, the veteran started merely five games for a much-maligned Pistons team last season. Nonetheless, he finished fourth on the team in scoring with 13.9 points in 26.7 minutes per game, although his 2.1 assists marked a career-low. As a result, it will be interesting to monitor how Stuckey adjusts to his new surroundings, but it appears he'll enjoy a more significant role than in previous years.
