Middleton missed Wednesday's practice while undergoing a cyst removal procedure and will now be sidelined for a few more days, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Analysis:

Middleton's early season preparations will be briefly interrupted by having a cyst removed, although the third-year forward should be able to join the Bucks in practice fairly soon. After playing all 82 games (64 starts) last season, averaging 12.1 points and shooting 41.4 percent from three-point range, Middleton could be relegated to a reserve role this season as a result of Milwaukee drafting Jabari Parker No. 2 overall.
