Analysis:

After pulling out of Team USA due to a fracture in his back, Griffin has apparently been a full participant so far in camp. Griffin attempted a career-high 12 three-pointers last season, but if he can refine a corner three-point shot in the same way that, say, Serge Ibaka has, then he would become an even more potent offensive weapon than he was last season when he was an MVP candidate. Griffin's two main weaknesses in fantasy coming into last season were his free-throw shooting and his lack of blocks relative to his position. However, in 2013-14 he took a major step at the charity stripe, hitting a career-best 71.5 percent of his free throws. If he adds a three-point shot, that would make up for his lack of blocked shots and make him a viable option early in drafts.
