Brown (hand) has been cleared to practice, Nets Daily reports.

Analysis:

Brown suffered a non-displaced fracture of his hand in August, but he is healthy and ready to start practicing. The original expected timetable of return was four-to-six weeks, so it's not surprising he's been cleared to practice. He'll start camp trying to earn a spot in the rotation at the shooting guard position, but he'll need to have an improved three-point shot, and stellar defense in order to get some time on the court. We'll wait and see how he looks in camp in order to determine what kind of role he could end up having.
