Analysis:
Embiid obviously hopes to play, but like Sixers' first-rounder Nerlens Noel a season ago, he will likely spend his entire first NBA campaign rehabbing from surgery. Nonetheless, the promising seven-footer will still travel and attend all team functions, which should help him acclimate to NBA life outside of playing. According to doctors, Embiid's foot should not pose a problem once he returns to health, making him of most value in dynasty leagues at this point in his young career.
