At Monday's media day, Thibs told reporters that championship teams don't often have multiple rookies in the rotation, implying that both Mirotic and Doug McDermott could be on the outside looking in as the season begins. Mirotic is a proven commodity overseas, and one of the top European prospects in recent memory, but it appears as though Thibodeau does not plan to throw him into the fire right away.
