Analysis:

Whittington was held out of Summer League action while rehabbing a broken fibula, but the 6-foot-10 center doesn't expect to be limited for the start of training camp. He may be a long shot to make the final roster, but with Ian Mahinmi (shoulder) expected to miss the start of camp, Whittington will serve as an extra big body in the post. He should see plenty of opportunities to expand his skill set while matched up against starting center Roy Hibbert.
