Anderson is competing for the Nets' starting shooting guard spot during training camp, ESPN New York reports.

Analysis:

Anderson and rookie Bojan Bogdanovic were mentioned by coach Lionel Hollins as possible replacements at the shooting guard position after moving Joe Johnson to small forward. Anderson finished last season with averages of 7.2 points, 2.2 rebounds, one assist, and 0.6 steals in 23 minutes per game. He also picked up 26 starts while playing in 78 games for the Nets, so he may have the advantage over Bogdanovic in regards to having familiarity with the players and system. We'll have to wait and see how this plays out during camp before making any predictions at who could start.
