Kobe Bryant's well-documented love affair with the sport of soccer could soon be actualized, as he's reportedly being courted to form a co-ownership group to potentially purchase Italian Serie B club Bologna FC 1909.

The report comes courtesy of La Gazzetta, which notes that Bryant and current Montreal Impact owner Joey Saputo are being pursued by attorney Joe Tacopina for a potential takeover. Bologna's largest current shareholder is reportedly interested in selling his share of the franchise.

It's unclear as to how much a potential purchase would cost Bryant. What is known, however, is that Bryant has earned just shy of $280 million in NBA salaries over his 18-year career in addition to untold endorsement riches, so there's a good chance he could afford it.
