Minnesota is willing to offer Bledsoe a four-year, $63 million maximum level contract but will need to complete a sign-and-trade deal in order to facilitate a deal, ESPN reports.

Analysis:

The Suns and Bledsoe haven't been able to come to terms on a new contract with Bledsoe likely to sign a one-year, $3.7 million qualifying offer so he can become a free agent next year. It's an odd move for Minnesota who already has Ricky Rubio at point guard and could signal the team isn't set on signing Rubio to the max deal he wants this summer. The complications of a sign-and-trade deal involving the two teams make this deal seem unlikely since the Suns seem unlikely to want Rubio back in a deal.
