VIDEO: Joakim Noah takes 2 cracks at throwing out 1st pitch

Matt Marton / USA Today Sports

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah won't be following in the footsteps of a certain Bulls player who took a sabbatical to try his hand at baseball. Even though Michael Jordan wasn't particularly successful, Michael Jordan on the diamond Joakim Noah is not.

On Thursday, Noah threw out the first pitch at the Chicago White Sox game...and the second pitch, because his first one was so bad.

If that looks like he's practicing before the game because it's so empty, well, that's what you get on a Thursday afternoon when you're 66-80. The White Sox drew just 12,314 with the Oakland Athletics in town for the game, barely filling 30 percent of their capacity.

Needless to say, Chicago sports fans are probably ready for Noah and the Bulls to take the court.
