PHOTO: Lance Stephenson wishes himself happy birthday in Larry Johnson throwback jersey

Lance Stephenson seems to be enjoying life as a Charlotte Hornet. Okay, well, maybe not life, but definitely the apparel options that come with repping the green and purple. 

On Friday, he posted a photo to Instagram wearing a throwback Larry Johnson jersey and a Hornets snapback. It's a great look, accented by the chains coming to rest atop Grandmama's No. 2.

Unfortunately, Stephenson doesn't look very happy, and wished himself a happy birthday in a kind of depressing caption:

Stephenson, now 24 years old, will look to carve out a place in Hornets history similar to that of Johnson, who spent five seasons in Charlotte, making two All-Star teams and averaging 19.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 3.3 assists.
