McRae signed to play with Melbourne United of the Australian National Basketball League this season, the Sydney Morning Herald reports.

Analysis:

McRae, who excelled in the Las Vegas Summer League, has signed to play the 2014-15 season in Australia, but the Sixers retain the right to call him back to the States in the first half of the season. Sixers' coach Brett Brown has a history with the Melbourne franchise and helped facilitate the move to develop McRae overseas. In Vegas, McRae averaged 21.0 points, 2.3 rebounds, 1.0 assists, and 1.8 steals in 29 minutes through four games. He shot 50.0 percent from the field and 86.5 percent from the line. Much like James Ennis of the Miami Heat last season, McRae has a huge opportunity to hone his skills in Australia and is a decent stash for dynasty leagues.
