Report: Gordon Hayward cut from Team USA
Team USA has reportedly made the first cut to its roster ahead of the 2014 FIBA World Championships.

Hayward was one of four players (Damian Lillard, Andre Drummond and DeMar DeRozan) to not play during Friday's 112-86 win over Puerto Rico on Friday. The 24-year-old appeared sparingly during Wednesday's win over the Dominican Republic, scoring four points in 14 minutes.
Following Friday's game, head coach Mike Krzyzewski announced that the team will carry 12 players to Spain on Saturday, leaving three players remaining to be cut.
