Steve Nash describes Kobe Bryant with endearing 3-word title

Mark Blinch / USA TODAY Sports

While most of his former teammates were singing his praises, Steve Nash was giving Kobe Bryant a Shaft-esque inspired description.

During a piece on Bryant written by Chris Ballard of Sports Illustrated, a hilarious anecdote from Gotham Chopra, who is directing a Showtime documentary on the Lakers Star, illustrates the relationship Bryant and Nash have with one another.

Kobe on preparing to play at 36: 'There are certain things that my body can’t do that I used to be able to do'

After each interview Kobe would text Chopra, eager to hear what people said. Most answered with some variation of 'the ultimate competitor' or 'killer instinct.' But when Chopra asked Steve Nash, he said something different. After thinking for a moment, Nash answered, slowly, in three beats: 'Mother ... f****** ... a******.

"Kobe thought this was awesome."

It's nice to see Nash bringing the humor in what is to be his last NBA season
