Hakim Warrick's potential path back to the NBA will run through San Antonio.

The 32-year-old forward, who spent last season playing in China in an attempt to get back to the NBA, confirmed to Mike Waters of The Post-Standard that he has been invited to workout with the Spurs on Sept. 1.

Selected 19th in the 2005 NBA Draft by the Memphis Grizzlies, Warrick has appeared in 526 games across eight seasons, averaging 9.4 points and four rebounds per game.

Warrick hasn't played in the NBA since the 2012-13 season, where he averaged seven points and 3.3 rebounds in 27 games with the Charlotte Bobcats
