The team said that it was a coach's decision, and that the team wanted to get a look at other players. Thibodeau said the coaching staff expected Rose to have "soreness" after last Saturday's action, so it seems that everyone is just playing it really safe with regards to Rose. If he does play Friday, we'll know that any knee issues are minor.
