Rose received a "planned light day" Monday, and was absent from the Team USA scrimmage that was broadcast on TV, while he was icing his knee, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.

Analysis:

While the team is calling it a planned off day for Rose, one can't help but get a little nervous, and maybe even a little crestfallen, especially if you're a Bulls fan or own him in a dynasty league. He returned to action at the United Center on Saturday night, and it's quite possible that he tweaked his knee during that outing. His surgeries and inability to return to action over the past couple seasons have been well documented, and there's no doubt that drafting Rose in fantasy this season is a high-risk/high-reward proposition.
