Stuckey is an option to start for the Pacers in 2014-15, the Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

Stuckey was originally signed by the Pacers to serve as a partial Lance Stephenson replacement, but with Paul George now set to miss the 2014-15 campaign, the team is now down two key contributors from last season. There are two starting spots currently open, and based on coach Frank Vogel's press conference indications, it seems to be up to Stuckey, CJ Miles and Solomon Hill to claim them. Chris Copeland and Damjan Rudez are also options, but it seems as if the team is leaning towards their two major free agent acquisitions and the home-grown Hill to fill the void. Stuckey will surely have to earn his role during camp, but at this point, 25 minutes per game may not be an unrealistic expectation.
