Miami Heat center Alonzo Mourning terrified opponents for the better part of 15 illustrious seasons between the Charlotte Hornets, New Jersey Nets and the Heat.

As a reward for racking up over 14,000 points, 7,100 rebounds and 2,300 blocks, as well as his noted character and triumph through a difficult battle with a rare kidney disease, Mourning was enshrined in the Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday.

True to his character, 'Zo humbly passed along the credit and honor of the occasion to his coaches, family and support staff. A classy individual, through and through.
