Well that was quick.

An hour after the trade was broke by Sam Amick of USA Today, the four-player deal between the New York Knicks and Sacramento Kings was made official in a press release.

The Kings acquired guard Wayne Ellington and forward Jeremy Tyler, in addition to easier restrictions on the 2016 second-round pick owed to them by the Knicks. It's expected that the Kings will waive Tyler and use the stretch provision on Ellington.

The Knicks, on the other hand, landed a pair of forwards in Quincy Acy and Travis Outlaw. Acy is a young and cheap option for an energy back-up four, while Outlaw used to be a good three-point shooting wing, but his performance has tailed off in recent years.
