Boozer was thought to be the Lakers' starting power forward this coming season, but apparently will start at small forward, the L.A. Times reports.

Analysis:

Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, Boozer has been penciled in as the team's starting small forward, despite having played his entire career as a power forward and also coming out and saying he is comfortable at center. With the Lakers only just deciding on a new coach, and a plethora of options in the frontcourt, the entire rotation is up in the air. Boozer, playing power forward for the Chicago Bulls last season, averaged 13.7 points and 8.3 rebounds in 28 minutes, his lowest totals since his rookie season back in 2002-03.
