The Los Angeles Lakers continued their busy-yet-underwhelming offseason Friday by announcing the return of their Belgian small forward.
The new contract is reportedly for one year and valued at $1 million.
Despite having his 2013-14 campaign cut short in March due to surgery for a torn ligament in his left wrist, Henry impressed during his first season in Los Angeles. He averaged 10.0 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 1.2 assists over 21.1 minutes per game in a bench role, while posting a true shooting percentage of 51.1 percent and a below-average player efficiency rating of 12.3.
