Mavericks announce signing of Jameer Nelson

As expected, the Dallas Mavericks have officially announced the signing of free agent point guard Jameer Nelson.

The announcement came via a team release, though no team executives or the player himself commented. The deal is reported to be a two-year pact using the room mid-level exception, which would pay Nelson $5.59 million over two seasons, with a player option on the second year.
