It seems LeBron James always has Ohio in his heart, no matter how far away he is.

According to Ohio.com, employees from Baker Blvd. Decadent Desserts dropped off cupcakes Tuesday night to James' Bath township neighbors while the superstar is touring China. James bought his Bath property in 2003, and built a 30,000 (!) square-foot home there.

The dozen treats included an apology note from James, his wife Savannah, and their two sons for the less-than-average couple of weeks the community is having.

We know things have been hectic in the neighborhood these past few weeks and we are sorry for the chaos. We are so thankful to live in this wonderful community and we are so blessed to have understanding neighbors like you.

As a gesture of our gratitude and appreciation, our family wants to give you something that is meaningful to us, our foundation’s cupcakes. We hope you enjoy the treat!

The neighbors received two flavors of cupcakes - "Homecourt Chocolate Chunk" and "Just a Kid from Akron Cherry Cola." When purchased at the bakery, 50 percent of the proceeds go to the LeBron James Family Foundation.
