According to a report from the Akron Beacon Journal, the Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement with sharpshooter James Jones on a one-year deal worth the league minimum.

Jones is a three-point shooting specialist that played with LeBron James between 2010 and 2014. He's dubbed as a specialist because shooting is the only thing Jones does, but he does it well, connecting on 40.3 percent of his three-point tries over his 11-year career.

This move was likely made on James' behest. During the Miami Heat's most recent playoff run, James publicly clamored for Jones to play more minutes. It also comes on the heels of the Cavaliers netting another former teammate of James in Mike Miller.
