As the Miami Heat continue to announce signing after signing, the latest player to be officially unveiled by the franchise is the NBA's top small forward from Sudan.

Of course, as is almost always the case, terms of the deal were not disclosed by the Heat. But according to Yahoo! Spots' Adrian Wojnarowski, the agreement is a two-year, $20-million contract with a player option on the 2015-16 season.

Following the announcement, Heat president Pat Riley released an official statement in which he called the acquisition of Deng "one of the most important free agent signings" in franchise history.

Per NBA.com:

Signing Luol Deng is one of the most important free agent signings that we have ever had in the history of the franchise. He is a proven All-Star and quintessential team player, both as a scorer, as well as an All-NBA defender. He brings the attitude of a warrior and competes every single night against the very, very best. We are thrilled to welcome him to the HEAT family.

Deng, who will likely slip into the vacant starting spot that LeBron James opened up, averaged 16.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.5 assists, and 1.0 steal in 2013-14, a season that saw him get traded from the Chicago Bulls to the Cleveland Cavaliers in early February.
