Vince Carter: Signs with Grizzlies

Carter agreed to a three-year, $12 million deal with Grizzlies, Yahoo Sports reports.

Analysis:

Carter thrived in his sixth-man role last season for the Mavericks and will provide a much-needed outside shooting touch for the Grizzlies, who ranked last in the NBA in three-pointers made. Likely come off the bench, Carter will share minutes with Tony Allen, Courtney Lee and rookie Jordan Adams, but still projects as a valuable player. Last season, in 24 minutes per game, Carter averaged 11.9 points and 1.8 made three-pointers and if he can approximate those numbers for his new team, will be a lower end fantasy option for even standard leagues.
