Report: Jazz match Hornets' offer sheet to Gordon Hayward

The Utah Jazz have matched the offer sheet extended to restricted free agent Gordon Hayward by the Charlotte Hornets, Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski reports.
Utah has informed Charlotte that the four-year, $63 million offer sheet for Gordon Hayward has been matched, league source tells Yahoo.

According to Jody Genessy of the Desert News, barring a physical, Hayward's deal with the Jazz will become official Saturday.
"The Jazz made a gigantic statement about how they feel about Gordon by choosing to match this and that’s really appreciated," Hayward's agent, Mark Bartelstein, told Genessy. "That speaks volumes about how they feel about Gordon as a person and a player."
In 77 games with the Jazz last season, Hayward averaged a career-high 16.2 points, 5.2 assists, and 5.1 rebounds.
