Knicks waive Lamar Odom

If forward Lamar Odom is to restart his career next year, he won't be doing so wearing a New York Knicks uniform.
July 11, 2014-NYK President Phil Jackson announced today that the team has waived forward Lamar Odom.

The fourteen-year NBA veteran signed with the Knicks earlier this year, but it appears his trial-run failed, thus prompting this move.
Odom averaged four points per game in his last stint in the NBA in 2013 as a member of the Los Angeles Clippers.
As for Knicks president Phil Jackson's comments on his former player:
