The Memphis Grizzlies are bringing back point guard Beno Udrih, according to a report from ESPN's Marc Stein.

The bi-annual exception would pay Udrih $2.08 million in year one and as much as $2.17 million in year two.

The Grizzlies signed Udrih late last season as a replacement for the suspended Nick Calathes, and the disposed New York Knicks point man paid dividends in the playoffs.

A savvy veteran who fits the Grizzlies' ethos well, Udrih averaged 7.9 points and 1.7 assists in 16.4 minutes in the team's opening round defeat.

Over 10 seasons in the NBA, the 32-year-old Slovenian has averaged 8.8 points and 3.6 assists while shooting 35.6 percent from long range.

He'll slot in behind Mike Conley on the team's depth chart, battling with Calathes - who has a non-guaranteed contract and can be waived without cost until July 15 - for the backup gig.
