With that, Brooklyn Nets general manager Billy King breathes a sigh of relief.

In his introductory press conference on Monday, newly hired Brooklyn Nets head coach Lionel Hollins poked fun at outgoing head coach Jason Kidd.

If you will recall, the Nets' head coaching job was vacated when Kidd made a haphazard power-play for more control of the franchise, including demanding the role of president of operations, which would have ceded King's control to Kidd. The ordeal ended with Kidd fleeing to coach the Milwaukee Bucks.

At the presser, Hollins also revealed that he intends to play at a faster pace next season. The Nets ranked 25th in pace rating last season. Furthermore, he hinted at changes on the way for the team's strategy.
