There has been a lot of common ground between the Dallas Mavericks and point guard Devin Harris reported since the beginning of free agency and it appears both sides are ready to come to terms.

Harris is reportedly close to signing a three-year deal to remain with the Mavericks according to ESPN's Marc Stein. The deal is believed to be worth $9-million over the course of the contract, according to Tim MacMahon

Harris returned to the Mavericks as a free agent last season, five seasons after being traded to the New Jersey Nets. He spent the first three and a half seasons in Dallas, and averaged 7.9 points and 4.5 assists in 40 games last season.
