Miles signed a four-year, $18 million deal with the Pacers on Wednesday, Indianapolis Star reports.

Analysis:

Miles, who met with Pacers brass Tuesday night, averaged 9.9 points and shot 39 percent from three for the Cavaliers last season. An ankle injury limited his effectiveness, but when healthy the 27-year-old has proven to be a valuable and versatile contributor. He'll provide immediate help on the perimeter to a team that ranked 22nd in three-pointers per game last season. If Indiana opts to let Lance Stephenson walk in free agency, Miles will compete for a starting spot. If Stephenson sticks around, Miles figures to be the first or second player off the bench.
