After hearing the Houston Rockets' midnight pitch and the Toronto Raptors' mid-day offer, free agent point guard Kyle Lowry and his agent are reportedly mulling it over.

Yahoo Sports' Adrian Wojnarowski's report was also corroborated by Ken Berger of CBS Sports.

In all likelihood, the decision comes down to a matter of competition versus salary. The Raptors hold Lowry's bird rights, and can therefore offer him more money than the Rockets could. The Rockets, though, have a roster closer to championship contention.

ESPN's Chris Broussard, however, is reporting that the Rockets are out of the chase for Lowry's services.

As of currently, the Rockets can offer Lowry as much as $10 million per year. However, if they find a taker for point guard Jeremy Lin's contract, their offer to Lowry could match just about any reasonable figure Lowry would command.
