Mavs' Dirk Nowitzki hopes for a 'face-to-face' with LeBron James

One of the best players in the NBA becomes a free agent on July 1st. Who wouldn't be after a proven power forward?

The Dallas Mavericks are looking to get better according to Dirk Nowitzki, and hope to at least be considered by LeBron James.

In a sit-down interview with USA Today, Nowitzki let his plans for the organization be known:

"Hopefully we might even get a face-to-face with LeBron, I have no idea what's going to happen July 1st, but we're going to try to get better. Two years ago we missed the playoffs for the first time in a long time, but we would love to get better."
