Tyson Chandler: Traded To Dallas
Chandler was dealt from the Knicks to the Mavericks on Wednesday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
Analysis:
Chandler was joined by Raymond Felton, who were sent to Dallas in exchange for Jose Calderon, Samuel Dalembert, Shane Larkin, Wayne Ellington and a second-round draft pick. In his last game as a Maverick, Chandler helped the franchise attain its sole NBA title, and perhaps a meeting of the minds with coach Rick Carlisle will help the 31-year-old center revitalize his game. During an injured-riddled 2013-14 season, Chandler averaged 8.7 points (on 59.3 percent shooting), 9.6 rebounds, 1.1 blocks, and 1.1 assists in 30.2 minutes.
