Chauncey Billups has another year left on the two-year deal he reached with the Detroit Pistons last summer, a team option, but for the first time in his career, he's thinking about the end.

"It's been very frustrating. But as we know, Father Time is undefeated. He's undefeated. But I can't be too frustrated, I got a lot of miles and a lot of use out of my body," Billups said via 9News.

Before re-joining the Pistons last season, the 37-year-old's injuries over two years with the Los Angeles Clippers limited him to a total of 42 games.

"You don't want to end the way that my last couple of seasons ended," Billups said.

In February, Billups underwent arthroscopic knee surgery. He played in 19 contests for the Pistons, but noted he's feeling good enough to push him through one more season.

"Just getting older, it sucks sometimes you know," he said.

His 16.3 minutes were a career-low, as were his 3.8 points, shooting 30.4 percent from the field.
