Gasol is working out without a brace for the first time since spraining his MCL in November, The Score reports. "I don't have to wear a brace anymore," Gasol said. "It's like the knee injury never happened. It's really strong and stable."

Analysis:

Gasol missed 23 games with the MCL issue last season but returned to post solid averages of 14.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.3 blocks per game. The knee did not appear to bother him during the second half of the season, and with a few months before camp begins, Gasol should be at full strength heading into next season.
