Bogut (ribs) is working with new coach Steve Kerr to become more of a facilitator on offense, 1116 AM in Melbourne reports.

Analysis:

Kerr apparently intends to utilize Bogut in a facilitating role where he's able to play a larger part offensively. "[Kerr] wanted me to be a bit more aggressive offensively and run through me a little more, so that's always good to hear," Bogut said. Kerr would likely utilize Bogut's passing abilities and allow him to create opportunities for the Warriors' perimeter shooters. The big man was not prominently featured in Mark Jackson's offense last season and was typically relegated to making his impact defensively. While Kerr isn't going to turn him into an elite offensive center, Bogut could see a modest increase in his scoring and assist numbers in 2014-15.
