Tony Parker hasn't forgotten that Spurs' championship window was supposed to be closed

With the Spurs' core players aging, many pundits have written the team off at some point over the years. Some more than once.

But with the team one win away from the franchise's fifth NBA title in 15 years, Tony Parker is quick to remind those naysayers of the times he was asked about the end of the Spurs' championship window.

“You’ve been saying that for the last seven, eight years, you know,” Parker said, via the San Antonio Express-News. “Every year the journalists keep saying the same stuff that we’ve done and it’s the last run. I totally understand. We’re getting older every year.”

While Parker may be the youngest member of the Spurs' Big Three, he certainly has a lot of miles on him after 13 years in the league.

As for the Spurs' window closing, this may be the year it finally does, with rumors of Tim Duncan and Gregg Popovich calling it quits after the Finals.

Then again, maybe we shouldn't write them off just yet.
