Aldridge earned his third NBA All-Star Game bid while averaging a career-high 23.2 points and 11.1 rebounds. He also shot a career-best 82.2 percent from the free-throw line. Aldridge showed his diverse skillset during the first round of the NBA Playoffs with back-to-back 40 point efforts, with a majority of his points coming from his mid-range jumper. He became the second Blazer to average over 23 points and 11 rebounds in a season, as Sidney Wicks was the only other Trail Blazer player to do so.
