Howard averaged 12.2 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 34 minutes per game this season. He also tallied 18.3 points per game while shooting 59 percent from the field. Howard was dominant at times in this season's playoffs, even though the Rockets lost to the Trail Blazers in the first round. In 40 mpg in the playoffs, Howard averaged 26.0 points and 13.7 rebounds. He also showed great improvement in his free-throw shooting from the regular season to the playoffs, shooting 63 percent in the playoffs after shooting just 55 percent during the regular season. This is Howard's seventh appearance on an All-NBA team.
