Hibbert has been encouraged by the Pacers to seek out a Hall of Famer to work with this offseason in an effort to improve his game and solidify his confidence, ESPN reports.

Analysis:

Hibbert went through a couple periods this season where he struggled to find his confidence and was inconsistent with his play, most notably in the playoffs. Pacers president Larry Bird said the team had already brought in Bill Walton one time this season, so this won't be Hibbert's first time working with someone outside of the organization. Bird also mentioned Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as someone Hibbert should seek out help from. In the playoffs, Hibbert averaged 9.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 0.9 assists, 0.2 steals, and 1.4 blocks in 29 minutes per game, which was below his regular season averages of 10.8 points, 6.6 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 0.4 steals, and 2.2 blocks in 30 minutes per game.
