Hibbert blames Vogel's game plan for his scoreless Game 4

Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert missed all four shots he took in his team's 102-90 loss to the Miami Heat in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference final Monday night.

And he knows exactly why, apparently.

"The game plan really wasn't to utilize me as much; I'm just trying to be effective as I can," Hibbert said via ESPN. "Would I like a little bit more touches early on? Yeah. But that's how the cookie crumbles sometimes."

Monday marked Hibbert's fourth scoreless playoff game, though he had five rebounds and a block.

Vogel countered, noting Hibbert was restricted in the offense because of his three fouls in the first half. The coach went with Luis Scola and David West in the fourth quarter, when the Pacers tried to keep pressure on the Heat.

Hibbert's averaging 11.8 points and 7.3 rebounds in this series, down from 22 points and 10 rebounds in last year's conference finals against Miami, noted ESPN's Brian Windhorst.

"I can only control what I can control," the big said. "I can't control plays called for me."
