Horford got off to an outstanding first couple of months to the 2013-14 season. However, due to tearing his right pectoral muscle, the Hawks' center did not play at all after Dec. 26, totaling just 29 games for the campaign.

Analysis:

Horford (pectoral) had his season end prematurely for the second time in three years, but did not make a return to action during the playoffs as he did back in 2012. The 2013-14 campaign was shaping into another All-Star caliber effort for the seventh-year big, with averages of 18.6 points, 8.4 rebounds and 1.5 blocks per game while shooting a remarkable 56.7 percent from the floor at the time he sustained the injury. Horford will look to continue rebuilding strength through the offseason and return to a leadership role for the Hawks as he enters the fourth season of a five-year, $60 million deal.
