Evan Turner: Out With Step Throat

Turner has strep throat and will not play in Sunday's Game 1 between the Heat and Pacers, the Pacers' official site reports.

Analysis:

Turner is on the inactive list and was sent home to avoid having him infect anyone else with the illness. Through 11 games this postseason, Turner has averaged 3.5 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.7 assists in 13 minutes per game. His status for Tuesday's Game 2 will likely be questionable.
