J.J. Hickson: (Knee) Targets January Return

Hickson (knee) anticipates returning to game action in January after he recovers from his ACL tear, CSN Northwest's Chris Haynes reports.

Analysis:

Hickson underwent surgery to repair his torn right ACL on Mar. 25 and hopes to be back on the court in early 2015. His role on the Nuggets in 2013-14 was inconsistent, as coach Brian Shaw struggled to find a set rotation in the frontcourt. Hickson, who averaged 11.8 points and 9.2 rebounds in 26.9 minutes, will look to step back into a semi-prominent role once he's fully healthy.
